I cought a queen ant (with wings) yesterday evening (past 11pm) near a source of light and on a window.
 I put the queen in a test tube (with 1/2 water blocked by cotton) this morning (0:30 am) and left it alone in the dark after she shed her wings up untill 11 am this morning (to check if she wass still alive). She was trying to escape by digging a hole in the cotton that blocks the test tube entrance. I didn't measure her exactly but I can say by measuring something she was next to that she has to be somewhere around 7mm maybe 8mm maybe 5mm. (not very acurate measurement gave 7mm).

If someone knows what species this is and or may be then please let me know!
